Analysing My Poem I Found

Really Want To Go Home

by DagaNow (Paiwan/Rukai)

Indigenous Peoples straying in the city

Do not have much luxury to dream

Blood with special mark flowing in the body

Do not know if tomorrow will still be the same

Indigenous Peoples living under uncertainty

Wounded souls want to go back to their homeland

Have been reluctantly in disguise for so long

Do not know if tomorrow will still be the same

Really want to go home

Really want to go home

At the end, Indigenous Peoples are all the same

Young men earn their livings in city factories

Young girls are forced into prostitution

Realized that life is no easy task

Do not know if tomorrow will still be the same

What will be the future for Indigenous Peoples

To speak of it made my heart feel sore

Ask for the answer made my heart go panic

Do not know if tomorrow will still be the same

Really want to go home

Really want to go home

At the end, Indigenous Peoples are all the same.

The poem i dont want to go home by Daga Now is about Aboriginal people and where they live in the city and its saying that they dont no if tomorrow is the some and they dont have luxury as in home or shelter to sleep in. This poem is about them like being lost and is also about Aboriginals and how they have to work to earn money. The poem effects me in many ways as in they dont really have a home to live in and it effects me because you feal sorry and like you have everything but they dont.  This poem was in June the 22nd 2006.

This poem is reputition because it repeats some verses more then i time and also at the end it repeats i really want to go home like 6 times. The image that comes to my head from the line i want to go home is probably they the Aboringinals are not enjoying this world working but they want to go home to there old traditions.

Don Helder Camara:

Dom Helder Camara was born from a poorest and least established region of Brazil by a middle class family in Fortaleza in 1909. Many people at times call him as in his other name Rio Dom Helder but Dom Helder Camara was preferred more by other people and him self. He was a true inspirational person that spent time to help all of the homeless people with no homes and he helped the poorest of people in his region. Dom Helder Camara had high standards of religious beliefs that he anchored himself in the spirituality and faith of the Catholic Church. Some of his others religious beliefs were to capture the heart of people through his personality and his faithfulness by helping and putting all his energy to help the poor and to do what god did. When he was at the age of 22 years he then joined a political beliefs society that did not last long until Getuilo Vargas demolished it in 1938. While in the exact year Dom Helder Camara then started teaching in the French Catholic of humanist theorist Jacques Maritain who basically influenced the entire people of Brazilian. In the late 1930 Dom Helder Camara was moved from the provincial of Fortaleza and was taken to Rio de Janeiro. By 1952 his dream and his hard work made him become bishop of Olinda Recife from then until 1962 for the first time. He was very happy and shocked and he had an effect on the world by teaching them and showing them the ways he is inspirational.  During the time he put his concerns to the church to growing of social inequalities that was Mainly Brazils moneymaking increase. At this time he then become the bishop of the Favelas and convinced the government to develop new programs to assist the church masses. When Dom retired in 1985 of being bishop the Brazilian bishops then weren’t that happy of following the role Dom Helder called the voice of the voiceless and they were put under pressure by the new bishop choices in 1985 called Pope John Paul 11. Though his programs were punished and some priests work were punished and also some of his work or had made a couple of mistakes being bishop Dom Helder announced the side with the poor people but his important promise was to the church and to his god preaching and talking to him. Things or events happened in his life changed peoples heads and there right of way. Dom Helder Camara is a inspirational person of god or faith because he changed our world being bishop in many ways as in helping and keeping all his promise in god and is inspirational because he followed in God as god would do and took care of the poorest of people in his village and designed or convinced the government to build growth to the land as in making churches and assisting more priests.
